I dont think the scrappage scheme will work to great, people driving 10 year old cars who apply for the scrappage wont have the fund to purchase brand new cars which even with the 2000pound discount will still be fairly expensive
The scrappage scheme should apply to vehicle up to a certain age like they do in germany i believe. Nearly new cars would then qualify for the discount! Or perhaps bring down the 10 year qualifier to perhaps 7 years!
